Brunswick Pond is located just north of the town of Brunswick and provides a limited option for fishing that is clearly targeted at the local population. In addition to trout stocked during the season, the small pond also supports bass and catfish. The pond is a few steps from the parking area, features a manicured, 100% accessible bank with a shaded children's playground perched in the southeast corner. As a result of the small size, this is not a destination for any more than an hour or two fishing, mostly lounging in a chair on the bank. The northern section of the lake becomes overgrown with subsurface vegetation, making it more suitable for bait fishing. The eastern and western banks pitch a little bit more sharply down and that additional depth keeps the bank clear during the early part of the year.
In short, a good place to bring a kid to catch a trout, but not worth the gas to get there as a destination.

Remember to refer to my rating explanations - these are based on what I look for - so RED for Physical Fitness translates to easy physically - you do not need to be in shape to fish this section. I prefer terrain that is tough to get into and out of.
