Need a shuttle or want to rent gear for a great day on the Rappahannock or Rapidan?  Check out these outfitters:

Rappahannock River Campground: In addition to being the perfect family setting for a weekend of camping, the Rappahannock River Campground offers canoeing, kayaking and tubing every weekend between April 1st and the end of October with reservations strongly recommended during the peak season of May through July.  There are discounts available to military personnel, seniors, scouts and other groups. The camp store carries camping, canoeing and fishing supplies that you can either buy or rent. They also sell firewood and ice.

Clore Brothers Outfitters: Between April and October, Clore Brothers offer river trips starting from different access points that give you the opportunity to tailor a day to the type of water, your energy and time available. Depending on the trip, the shuttle times vary with the day of the week and the destination.

Virginia Outdoor Center: They bring more to the table than just being a canoe/kayak livery. Beyond water sports, they offer a climbing wall, climbing classes, ropes course, kayak instruction, guided day hikes and backpacking trips in the Shenandoah National Park as well as themed youth camps. Finally, if you do not want to venture onto the Rappahannock without professional assistance, you can sign up for one of their full or half day guided fishing trips.
